Guillaume Rué de Bernadac

President of the Académie de Bernadac

A graduate of the Audencia Business School in France (accredited AMBA, AACSB, EQUIS), Mr Rué de Bernadac holds a Master in Business. Later he studied at Tongji University in Shanghai, where he developed a passion for China’s multi-thousand-year-old culture.

The expertise of Mr Rué de Bernadac comes from his family experience. At a very young age, he was schooled in the codes of protocol by his grandmother, Mme de Bernadac. Mme de Bernadac and her father were private tutors at the court of the King of Morocco for decades since the 1920s. They taught children a brilliant and sophisticated education.

Nowadays the Bernadac family is providing this valuable knowledge in China, also at embassies and large companies.

By launching Académie de Bernadac in China Mr Rué de Bernadac was eager to weave narrower links between the East and the West. He believes that China has a very high sensitivity for sophisticated knowledge, and is very sensitive to beauty, similar to French etiquette.

As a true etiquette professional, Mr Rué de Bernadac has completed his knowledge in London and Switzerland, in order to acquire an overview of the international etiquette. He also gives eloquence lessons at the Eloquence Club of Paris. Oenophile, Mr Rué de Bernadac holds a degree in wine knowledge from the WSET, the world’s leading provider of wine education. Mr Rué de Bernadac has worked for the luxury goods and beauty industry: LVMH, for Dior, and L’Oréal Luxe. These experiences have strengthened his attention to details and perfection.

As a world’s citizen, Mr Rué de Bernadac speaks 4 languages, has lived in several countries with various cultures, he also has played the piano for 20 years, skis, and is involved in charity with the Rotary.

Janine Jakob

Etiquette Trainer

Janine Jakob is a professional etiquette trainer at the Académie de Bernadac, specialised in success & happiness, passionately focusing on business and life skills as well as employees’ well-being at the workplace.

Ms Jakob holds a Master degree in International Business from Munich Business School in Germany and Skema Business School in China, with around 10 years of international work experience at a global Fortune 500 IT company. In parallel to school and university, she also worked in a German high-class restaurant for 8 years. In Suzhou, Ms Jakob founded the Happiness Association and is the Community Manager of an international female community called GGI, as well as Internations to regularly host networking events with locals and expats in Suzhou.

Ms Jakob believes good manners, knowing about etiquette, having a strong mindset, as well as improving your soft skills are important in order to deliver better performances in your professional environment. It has been proven that people who developed happiness and self-confidence skills are the most efficient one with the most successful careers throughout their life.

Shortly after arriving in China, Ms Jakob fell in love with the Chinese culture and food, diverse mentalities, and the variety and opportunities the country has to offer. China is a miracle in many ways and Ms Jakob enjoys living here.

In her free time, Ms Jakob is a passionate salsa and bachata dancer.

Frederik Vercammen

Etiquette Trainer

Frederik Vercammen is a stylist and merchandising professional from Belgium with a Master Degree in Art History.

From a young age, Mr. Vercammen has been fascinated with aesthetics and the way fashion can lift up a person. It is his strong believe that with the right dress or suit, and attitude, everyone can be elegant and confident.

He started his career as a curator at the internationally acclaimed Antwerp Fashion Museum (MoMu), where he refined his knowledge about fashion history and came into contact with industry legends such as Martin Margiela and Ann Demeulemeester.

Later on Mr. Vercammen worked for internationally famed fashion designers Raf Simons and Dries Van Noten, where he was responsible for customer and public relations, marketing, and merchandising.

After studying with Mr. Rué de Bernadac from a French noble family, Frederik’s international vision also inspired him to study international etiquette and culture. He has cooperated deeply with many high-end lifestyle brands, and with constantly enriched high-end lifestyle knowledge, Fred is able to pass on the concept of beauty from his understanding in a unique way.

In his free time, he likes to visit art exhibitions and attend classical concerts. Mr. Vercammen is also a passionate amateur pianist.

Pavlo Mozharovskyi

Etiquette Trainer

Pavlo Mozharovskyi holds a master degree of faculty management and economics in National Ukrainian University. Pavlo has started ballroom dancing and has been taught good manners, proper and elegant dressing and gentlemanly behaviors since he was 3 years old.He went to a private school for Models and Actors when he was 11, where he learned etiquette, fashion, posing, runway etc.

From a young age, he found joy in experimenting with different looks, exploring various textures, colors, and patterns to express individuality through clothing. Beyond the classroom, he immersed himself in the fashion industry, attending fashion shows, collaborating with photographers and models.

As a stylist, his approach is rooted in versatility and personalization. He believes that fashion is a powerful means of self-expression and empowerment. Each client is a blank canvas, and the goal is to discover their individuality and translate it into a distinctive style that resonates with their personality, lifestyle, and aspirations.

Pavlo is a also professional dancer, model with years of working experience. He also works as a personal fitness trainer and has developed programs helping redefine people’s body shape. He not only teaches students good skills, but also inspires them to achieve best results and reach their dreams.

Pavlo was invited to China as a model and runway coach in 2013. Ever since, China has always been a source of inspiration for him. Pavlo is fascinated by the development of this great country and mesmerizing culture and heritage.

Today, as a ballroom dance judge, a fashion stylist and etiquette instructor, Pavlo continues to shine and thrive in China. With his expertise, he helps more people discover their confidence and achieve self-fulfillment.

Isabelle Hannouche

Etiquette Trainer

Isabelle Hannouche is a professional trainer at Académie de Bernadac, specialized in motivation, human resources management, team building, entrepreneurship, multiculturalism and women empowerment.

Ms Hannouche holds a Master’s degree in Law, Economy, Management specialty Human Resources Management from Montpellier 3 University (France). Following her passion and devotion to uplift people, Ms Hannouche got her certification as a Life Coach from The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology.

Ms Hannouche was introduced to etiquette through the experience of her grandmother who was raised in a loving Portuguese aristocratic family. She has also been practicing gymnastics at a young age which gave her the opportunity to pay attention on posture and elegance in movements. She believes making a good impression by only entering a room sets the floor for success!

In Shanghai since 2012, Isabelle ran multiple businesses. She also co-founded a Shanghai-based volunteer platform Teranga Valley helping thousands of professionals, coaches and entrepreneurs to connect and learn from each other on a daily basis. She also worked as a live streamer for the famous platform Alibaba.

Ms Hannouche literally felt in love with China at first sight. She loves the vibrant open-minded community of entrepreneurs and changemakers. She is glad to be part of this ecosystem &enjoys inspiring her clients to become the best version of themselves.

In her free time, Ms Hannouche enjoys stretching and spending quality time with her son Matteo.

Lisa Gregori

Etiquette Trainer

Lisa Gregori is a professional trainer at Académie de Bernadac from Switzerland, who has been living and working abroad for the past 15 years, most of it in Shanghai.
Mrs. Gregori graduated from a private College for Ladies in the south of Switzerland, famous for their very high standards but also for their very strict rules and regulations. There she learned also about how a Lady should behave in society and in private. Later, she got a degree in Mandarin Chinese for International Business at Fudan University.

Mrs. Gregori worked as a flight attendant for Swiss Airlines which helped her to gain knowledge regarding how to behave with  high profile people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and cultures. She pursued her career by working for two famous 5 stars Hotels in Chengdu and Hong Kong, in charge of VIP customers. Recently, she became fashion stylist and decided to open her own fashion brand Ad Maiora.

Elegance is so deeply rooted in Mrs Gregori. Her family always put manners first, sometimes even before school grades, and her past work experiences added even more interest and passion to become better and help others feel confident and to reveal their Lady or Gentleman sides. This is why we are proud to have her at Académie de Bernadac

Mrs Gregori felt in love with China the first time when landed in Beijing, probably more than 10 years ago. She made Chinese acquaintances very quickly which decided her to move to China permanently, pursue her career here, and launch her new activities.

As of now, she can speak and write in 6 languages.
